Orchestra Acrostic Poems

Following the second graders' trip to Strathmore, Ms. Kasab and Ms. Varga worked with the classes to generate an acrostic poem. Here are some examples of their work. Can you create your own acrostic poem, too?

Second Grade's Trip to Strathmore

On Tuesday, November 27, all of our second graders traveled to the Music Center at Strathmore in North Bethesda, Maryland. We heard the National Philharmonic Orchestra perform several pieces of music.
